**Information Security Governance Risk Compliance (GRC), **Security Awareness Coordinator**

**Responsibilities**:
The Synopsys Information Security Team is expanding and seeking a Security Awareness Coordinator within the Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) team with demonstrated expertise leading a cybersecurity or Information Security training program.- Working closely with the Director of Information Security and stakeholders across the organization and in collaboration with other members of the information security department, this position will manage a broad set of activities, including: drafting information security awareness articles, guidelines, and training content, facilitating cybersecurity awareness campaigns, phishing campaigns, helping to plan outreach, and other cybersecurity educational events. The Security Awareness Coordinator will also be responsible for maintaining metrics for measuring the effectiveness of security awareness training and education program activities.
- This role will be required to:
- Build and maintain the Security Education and Awareness program based on information security requirements and objectives
- Write, present, and provide critical thinking skills to assist with developing information security training content, security guidelines, web blogs, newsletter and knowledge articles, Intranet sites, and presentations that will engage audiences across the enterprise and specific audiences
- Coordinate with external content developers, review, critique and edit content to meet organizational information security and GRC training objectives.
- Ensure that the Information Security awareness program communicates the Synopsys Information Security policies and requirements so that people know, understand, and can follow them
- Adapt the cybersecurity strategy to incorporate and address emerging technologies and risks
- Implement and support monthly simulation-based anti-phishing training campaigns and training assignments
- Develop and report on training compliance and Key Performance Indicators related to course completions, value, and training effectiveness. Coordinate notifications for past due training
- Create templates and branding for Information Security communications
- Partner with corporate communications, legal, IT, and physical security teams to ensure consistency and to maximize on efficiency

Relevant experience may include:

- BA/BS degree in Education, Communication, or related fields
- 3+ years of experience in delivering, developing training and education including, but not limited to, soft skills, technical skills, and systems training
- Experience working with industry standard Learning Management Systems (LMS), SCORM files, MS Stream, and reporting/measuring training results and learning impact; strong technical aptitude in the learning and development function
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to provide constructive and targeted feedback in writing, briefing, and critical thinking using the analytic standards and guidelines
- Ability to navigate diverse global perspectives and promote an inclusive and collaborative environment
- Knowledge of information security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, NIST CSF, etc.
- Experience managing web content using SharePoint and HTML
- MS Word and PowerPoint
- CISSP or GSEC preferred
