**Position Title: Housekeeping Supervisor**
**Job Summary**:
The Housekeeping Supervisor oversees and coordinates the daily operations of the housekeeping department to ensure cleanliness and orderliness are maintained throughout the premises. This role involves supervising housekeeping staff, scheduling tasks, inspecting facilities, and ensuring adherence to cleanliness standards. The Housekeeping Supervisor plays a crucial role in maintaining a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests and residents.
**Responsibilities**:
- **Supervision and Leadership**:
- Directly supervise and train housekeeping staff, including room attendants, janitors, and laundry workers.
- Provide guidance, motivation, and performance feedback to ensure high standards of cleanliness and professionalism are consistently met.
- Delegate tasks effectively, considering workload and individual capabilities.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment by promoting teamwork and resolving conflicts constructively.
- **Operational Management**:
- Plan and organize daily cleaning schedules, ensuring all areas are thoroughly cleaned and maintained according to established standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with company policies.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as maintenance and front office, to address cleaning needs and guest requests promptly.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, and coordinate replenishment as necessary.
- Implement and enforce safety procedures and protocols to minimize accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- **Quality Assurance**:
- Ensure all guest rooms and public areas meet quality standards in terms of cleanliness, appearance, and functionality.
- Respond promptly to guest complaints or concerns regarding housekeeping services, taking appropriate corrective actions to resolve issues and prevent recurrence.
- Conduct regular training sessions and performance evaluations to maintain high service standards and identify areas for improvement.
- **Administration**:
- Maintain accurate records of housekeeping activities, including room occupancy, cleaning schedules, and staff attendance.
- Prepare reports and provide updates to management regarding departmental performance, challenges, and initiatives.
- Assist in the development and implementation of housekeeping policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Collaborate with the human resources department in recruitment, onboarding, and training of new housekeeping staff.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
