CNC Programmer

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Designing**: Use CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Fusion 360) to create detailed 2D/3D models for CNC machining.
- **CNC Programming**: Develop CNC machine programs (G-code, M-code) based on part designs to control machining processes such as milling, turning, and drilling.
- **Part Optimization**: Ensure that designs are optimized for CNC machining by considering material types, machine capabilities, tool paths, and efficiency.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with the engineering team, machinists, and other departments to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet customer requirements.
- **Technical Support**: Provide ongoing support for the production floor, troubleshooting design or programming issues, and ensuring the design aligns with production capabilities.
- **Quality Control**: Conduct design and post-production quality checks to ensure that parts meet specifications and tolerances.
- **Documentation**: Maintain comprehensive documentation of design files, CNC programs, revisions, and project notes.

**Required Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- **Experience**:

- At least 2-5 years of experience in CNC design and programming.
- Familiarity with CNC machinery and its operations.
- **Skills**:

- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages (G-code, M-code).
- Familiarity with CNC machining operations such as milling, turning, and drilling.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work with a variety of materials (metal, plastics, composites, etc.).

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software (e.g., Mastercam, Edgecam).
- Familiarity with 3D printing or additive manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of material properties and their behavior during machining.
- Understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
