**Job Title**: Sign Language Interpreter
**Location**: Bangalore, India
**Employment Type**: Full-Time

**About the Role**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide real-time interpretation between spoken language and Indian Sign Language (ISL) in meetings, trainings, workshops, and events.
- Support deaf/hard-of-hearing employees/clients in understanding organizational communication, policies, and processes.
- Translate written documents or presentations into sign language when required.
- Maintain confidentiality and impartiality while interpreting.
- Collaborate with HR, program teams, and external stakeholders to ensure inclusion and accessibility.
- Assist in sensitization workshops to raise awareness about sign language and deaf culture.

**Requirements**:

- Proficiency in Indian Sign Language (ISL).
- Certification in Sign Language Interpretation (preferred).
- Prior experience as a sign language interpreter (minimum 1-2 years preferred).
- Strong interpersonal, listening, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a professional environment with sensitivity to diverse needs.
- Flexibility to travel for meetings/events (if required).

**Preferred Qualities**:

- Experience working with NGOs, corporate inclusion programs, or educational institutions.
- Passion for inclusion, accessibility, and working with people with disabilities.
- Team player with patience and cultural awareness.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
