Quality Inspector

**Job Location**: #33 ,Sri Nagar, Andhivadi Check post, Nanjapuram, Hosur -635109

**Job Purpose**:
To ensure that all manufactured components meet customer specifications and company quality standards through detailed inspection using advanced measuring equipment **(including CMM)**, and to manage documentation processes such as **PPAP, control plans, and final inspection records.**

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Inspection & Quality Checks**
- Perform **final inspection** of precision components before dispatch.
- Operate and program **Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)** for 3D measurement and verification.
- Interpret **engineering drawings**, GD&T symbols, and customer specifications.
- Conduct **in-process inspections** and monitor process capability (Cp, Cpk).
- Use manual and digital measuring tools: micrometers, vernier calipers, height gauges, etc.

**Quality Documentation**
- Prepare and maintain quality documentation including:

- PPAP (Production Part Approval Process)
- Control Plans
- Inspection Reports
- First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR)
- Process Flow Diagrams
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 quality standards.

**Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement**
- Identify root causes of non-conformities and support CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action).
- Participate in internal quality audits and customer audits.
- Work with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
- Support initiatives like 5S, Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, and Lean Manufacturing.

**Qualifications & Skills Required**:
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical or Production Engineering

**Technical Skills**:

- Minimum 5-6 years in a Quality Inspector or similar role
- Strong experience operating **CMM (preferably Mitutoyo )**:

- Good understanding of **PPAP, APQP, SPC, FMEA, MSA**:

- Proficient in **MS Office**, **Excel**, and Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- Exposure to **ISO 9001 / TS / IATF 16949** audits and practices

**Soft Skills**:

- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Good communication and teamwork ability
- Report writing and data analysis
- Ability to train junior inspectors if needed

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
