The Product:
CrowdStrike Falcon Host is a two-component security product. One component is a “sensor”, which is a lightweight agent installed on client machines that observes system activity and recognizes malicious behavior, then provides on-box prevention capability and remote telemetry to the Falcon Host cloud. The cloud component aggregates sensor telemetry for each customer’s network, can correlate malicious behavior across multiple machines, and presents our customers’ operations teams with a prioritized summary of the threats detected in their environments.

About the Role:
CrowdStrike is looking for a Software Engineer to join our growing TechOps CICD Pipeline team. As part of this team, you will be a key member that keeps our software factory humming. Want to shape the technical vision around our continuous integration pipeline? Build tools and automation that take us through the next 10x of growth? Enhance developer experience by decreasing friction and streamlining CI/CD pipelines? If so, this job is for you

What You'll Do:
- Expertise with various consumer and enterprise operating systems (Windows, Linux, MacOS, iOS, Android) operating at scale.- Familiarity with Software Development Lifecycle elements such as build/test/deploy.- Strong development experience writing pipeline code in Jenkins using Groovy, including shared libraries.- Extensive expertise with building automation in Jenkins pipelines.- Experience writing and maintaining Jenkins Plugins.- Ability to understand the needs of a scaling organization and how to optimize jobs/pipelines to sustain growth.- Automate common tasks, deploy with an IaaS model, extensive experience with enterprise-grade configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Salt etc.- Experience utilizing git repositories (Bitbucket, GitLab, GitHub etc.)- Experience utilizing Artifact repository services such as: Artifactory, Nexus etc.- Ability to read and write simple to moderately complex scripts and programs for automation, tools, frameworks, dashboards, alarms. (Common uses: Python, Groovy, PowerShell)- Ability to document processes/procedures.

What You'll Need:
- 5+ years of experience working in a large-scale production environment with 3+ years focused on Jenkins environment.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.- Proven ability to work effectively with both local and remote teams.- Must be able to work with a distributed team across multiple time zones.- Must exhibit attention to detail, and have the ability to make good, timely decisions and prioritize numerous simultaneous tasks.- Demonstrate self-learning capabilities, taking initiative in a fast pace/quickly changing environment.- Security-mindset, general understanding of cybersecurity principles.
