Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and dispense prescription medications with accuracy. - Provide counseling on the proper use, dosage, and potential side effects of medications. - Review prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and potential drug interactions. - Educate patients about health and wellness topics, including preventive care. - Maintain up-to-date patient records and ensure confidentiality. - Stay informed about new drugs, therapies, and industry trends. - Manage inventory and ensure adequate stock levels of medications and supplies. - Adhere to all legal and regulatory requirements related to pharmacy practice. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) degree. - Valid pharmacist license in [State/Region]. - Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and therapy options. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Detail-oriented, with a commitment to accuracy and patient safety. - Proficient with pharmacy management software and systems.
