Job Title: Estimation and Design Engineer - Bus Bar Trunking

Job Overview:
As an Estimation and Design Engineer specializing in Bus Bar Trunking systems, you will be responsible for analyzing project requirements, creating accurate cost estimates, and designing bus bar trunking systems tailored to client specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, proficiency in design software, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Analysis:
Review project specifications, electrical drawings, and other relevant documents to understand client requirements.

Analyze electrical load data, layout plans, and technical specifications to determine the scope of work.

Cost Estimation:
Prepare detailed cost estimates for bus bar trunking projects, including material costs, labour expenses, and overheads.

Utilize estimation software and historical data to ensure accuracy and competitiveness of bids.

Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to obtain pricing information from suppliers and subcontractors.

Design Development:
Develop conceptual and detailed designs for bus bar trunking systems based on project requirements and engineering standards.

Utilize CAD software and other design tools to create layout drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.

Coordinate with electrical engineers and other stakeholders to ensure design compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Technical Support:
Provide technical support to sales teams during the bidding process, including interpreting technical requirements and addressing client inquiries.

Collaborate with project managers and site engineers to resolve design issues and optimize system performance during installation.

Documentation and Reporting:
Prepare comprehensive design documentation, including drawings, bill of materials, and technical specifications.

Maintain accurate records of design revisions, project changes, and correspondence with clients and vendors.

Generate progress reports and participate in project meetings to update stakeholders on design activities and milestones.

Quality Assurance:
Conduct quality checks on design deliverables to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.

Implement quality assurance processes to minimize errors and optimize design efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Proven experience in electrical design and estimation, preferably in bus bar trunking systems or similar electrical infrastructure projects.

Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and estimation software.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay: ₹11,956.28 - ₹53,433.35 per month
