- BMC is looking for a Product Designer - UI to join our amazing teamHere is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to BMC's and your own success:
- Create UI/graphical elements for design system components.
- Manage and maintain the color palette in line with brand guidelines.
- Create pixel-perfect UI elements, illustrations, and iconography.
- Manage and evolve the brand color palette for consistency across platforms.
- Craft visually appealing and functional component states, layouts, and visual assets.
- Partner with engineers to support accurate implementation of design components.
- Create, maintain, and evolve design systems, component libraries, and visual style guides for consistency and efficiency.
- Maintain Figma component libraries and document it.
- Conduct design audits and suggest improvements for system scalability.
- To ensure you’re set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:
- 3+ years of experience as a UI/UX Designer.
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or a related field.
- Strong portfolio showcasing design projects and proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
- Good understanding of design principles, including typography, color theory, and layout composition.
- Familiarity with user-centered design processes, user research techniques, and usability testing.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for creating intuitive and visually appealing user experiences.
Whilst these are nice to have, our team can help you develop in the following skills:
- Experience with both SaaS and on-prem products
