The mechanical fitter position is focused on performing maintenance work on mechatronic systems. The mechanical fitter mainly operates at external locations for the realization of high-quality, specialized and/or certified work on mechatronic systems and construction parts.
What are your tasks?
- Building mechanical components and parts into complete structures, devices or modules based on drawings and instructions.
- Maintaining and installing mechanical equipment.
- Locating, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical failures.
- Testing and adjusting assembled parts.
- Performing all common repair, maintenance and inspection work in the mechanical field.
- Overhaul, sheet metal and welding work.

**Job requirements**:

- Creative, independent and practical minded.
- MBO level of education or work experience.
- Knowledge of mechanical work as well as pneumatics, hydraulics and welding.
- Good improvisational and analytical skills.
- Accurate and able to respond to changing circumstances.
- A safety-conscious and accurate working attitude.
- Insight into the operation of machines and processes.
- Reading technical drawings.
- In possession of a VCA diploma or willing to obtain one in the short term.
- Sense of responsibility and passion for technology.

**Compensation**: €2.750 - €4.250 gross income per month
