Job Description: Medicine Counter Salesman

Educational Qualification: Higher Secondary and Above

Experience : Min 1 Years to 3 Years in Medicine Store

Duty Time: 10 AM TO 08 PM (Sunday - Fix Week Off)

Key Responsibilities:
1. Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner and assist them in finding the products they need.

2. Answer customers' questions about medications, supplements, and other healthcare products, providing accurate information and advice.

3. Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system, including handling cash, credit/debit cards, and other forms of payment.

4. Dispense prescription medications according to legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring accuracy in dosage and instructions.

5. Maintain an up-to-date inventory of medications and healthcare products, restocking shelves as needed and rotating stock to ensure freshness.

6. Check expiration dates and ensure proper storage conditions for medications and healthcare products.

7. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns professionally and promptly, escalating issues to management when necessary.

8. Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive customer care.

9. Keep the sales area clean, organized, and presentable at all times.

10. Adhere to all regulatory requirements, including laws governing the sale of medications and controlled substances.

11. Participate in training programs and stay updated on pharmaceutical developments, new products, and regulations.

Skills and Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as a pharmacy technician, medicine counter salesman, or similar role in a pharmacy or retail setting.

2. Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, including generic and brand-name medications, dosage forms, and indications.

3. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.

4. Attention to detail and accuracy in handling medications and processing transactions.

5. Familiarity with pharmacy software systems and POS systems.

6. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.

7. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating dosages.

8. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

9. High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification as a pharmacy technician is a plus.

**Salary**: ₹8,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
