Role:
- Oracle Apps DBA
Experience required - 4 to 8 years
Ø Manage, configure, administer Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) environments, including installation, patching, and upgrades.
Ø Monitor the health and performance of Oracle EBS, resolving issues and ensuring optimal system uptime.
Ø Collaborate with functional teams to support and troubleshoot Oracle Applications modules.
Ø Administer and maintain Oracle databases, ensuring data integrity, security, and availability.
Ø Implement and maintain database backup and recovery strategies.
Ø Conduct regular backup testing and ensure data recoverability in case of failures.
Ø Implement security measures and access controls to protect sensitive data within Oracle Applications and databases.
Ø Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in Oracle EBS and databases.
Ø Optimize database configurations, indexes, and query performance.
Ø Keep Oracle Applications and databases up-to-date with the latest patches and security updates.
Ø Plan and execute patching activities with mínimal downtime.
Ø Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to Oracle Applications and database configurations.
Ø Share knowledge and best practices with team members and stakeholders.
Ø Implement and maintain high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions for Oracle Applications and databases.
Ø Conduct regular DR testing and ensure failover readiness.
## Skills
- Oracle EBS 12.2.9, Oracle financials, Oracle 19c, AIX 7
Knowledge in Java, SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Reports and BI Publisher.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Bangalore, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
