At least 5 years of teaching experience as PGT or 10 years of teaching experience as TGT in CBSE/ICSE/State Board-affiliated schools.
- Must possess a Master’s degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
The vice principal is responsible for assisting the principal in overseeing the daily operations of the school and ensuring that students receive a quality education.
Some specific duties and responsibilities of a vice principal may include:
- The vice principal may assist the principal with administrative tasks such as managing budgets, coordinating staff schedules, overseeing curriculum development, and communicating with parents and other stakeholders.
- The vice principal may be responsible for enforcing school policies and procedures related to student behaviour, such as developing and implementing disciplinary measures and coordinating with teachers and counsellors to address student issues.
- The vice principal may work with teachers and counsellors to identify students who need additional support, such as academic or emotional support, and develop plans to address their needs.
- The vice principal may be responsible for supervising teachers and staff, providing support and guidance, and evaluating their performance.
- The vice principal may work with teachers and staff to plan and coordinate school events and activities, such as sports games, dances, and academic competitions.
- The vice principal may work with teachers and other administrators to develop and implement curriculum, ensuring that it meets state and federal standards and is aligned with the school's educational goals.
