- Evaluating PR (Purchase Requisition), Reviewing & prioritizing the material requisitions. Liaising with various dept. USER for understanding & finalization of technical specifications.
- Generating purchase orders (PO) in Oracle from PR. Preparing monthly MIS report of the total orders generated, PR-to-PO cycle time, Total Savings achieved, Open POs, orders closed. Responsible for complete P-to-P cycle.
- Ensuring timely delivery of MRO, Project related items to plant. Ensuring minimum inventory level for MRO items through min-max system.
- Soliciting quotations & technical literature from suppliers; Preparing comparative statement of the suppliers techno-commercial offers.
- Material Planning, Shortlisting Vendors, Negotiations with the vendors, PO placement & follow up, Ensuring supplier’s adherence to stipulated delivery lead time & quality.
