Currently we are looking for **The Infrastructure Engineer 2.**

The Infrastructure Engineer 2 is responsible for designing, building, and implementing systems and hybrid cloud solutions in support of our global IT Infrastructure. The position serves as a primary escalation point for advanced infrastructure and user-related issues, ensuring high availability and continuity of critical systems operations. Beyond troubleshooting, you’ll drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimize and modernize existing systems making a real impact on performance, reliability, and efficiency.

**Responsibilities**:
- Design, build, and implement basic technology platforms and hybrid cloud solutions
- Safeguard the security, integrity, and confidentiality of the company's supported systems and data; collaborate on and execute basic improvements to maintain and achieve high security posture
- Design and implement solutions for backup and disaster recovery; participate in the testing and execution of disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensure business continuity
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic issues and outages; perform problem-solving, root-cause, and post-mortem analyses to drive process improvements
- Document the design, operation, procedures, and troubleshooting of implemented solutions and technology platforms; compose training materials and conduct training sessions with stakeholders
- Participate in audits of servers and environment to ensure compliance with established standards, policies and configuration guidelines
- Collaborate on best practices, standards, and processes for design and administration of systems and solutions
- Comply with all corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices, including but not limited to, Hyland’s Information Systems Security Policy.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Experience as a Systems Engineer/Architect
- Experience working with hybrid cloud solutions
- Experience working with virtualization technologies
- Experience working with Windows and Linux server operating systems
- Good oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact
- Good data gathering, interviewing, and analytical/problem solving skills
- Good customer service orientation
- Good interpersonal skills: able to maintain solid rapport with team members as well as maintain professionalism with those outside of department
- Good attention to detail
- Able to thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
- Experience working with Cisco UCS servers and NetApp storage
- Experience with scripting and automation - PowerShell, Terraform, Ansible
- Microsoft Windows or MacOS and Microsoft Office proficiency
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows network environments
- Up to 5% travel time required
