We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Tally Operator to join our team. The Tally Operator will be responsible for accurately entering financial data, maintaining accounting records, and assisting in the day-to-day operations of the accounting department using Tally software. This role requires a high level of precision and attention to detail to ensure the smooth flow of financial information. **Key Responsibilities**: - Input and update financial data into the Tally system with a high degree of accuracy. - Assist in maintaining ledgers, journals, and other accounting records. - Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in financial data. - Generate various financial reports, such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports. - Process invoices, bills, and other financial documents. - Ensure timely and accurate entry of all transactions into the Tally system. - Coordinate with other departments to obtain necessary financial data and resolve accounting issues. - Assist in auditing and maintaining records for tax purposes. - Support the senior accounting team in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures. - Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and relevant regulations. **Qualifications**: - Proven experience as a Tally Operator or in a similar role, preferably in an accounting or finance department. - In-depth knowledge of Tally software and its functionalities. - Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word). **Preferred Skills**: - Knowledge of GST, and other tax-related procedures. - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred). - Experience with other accounting software is a plus.
