We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Camera Driver to operate vehicles equipped with specialized camera systems for data collection purposes. This role plays a key part in gathering visual data for various projects, including mapping, autonomous vehicle development, and surveillance initiatives.

A **camera driver** in the automotive context refers to the software or hardware system responsible for managing and controlling the vehicle's camera-based systems. These cameras are often integrated into advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) to enhance safety, navigation, and driving experience. The camera driver is a key component in ensuring that the camera captures high-quality images or video feeds and interfaces properly with other vehicle systems.

Key Responsibilities:
**Camera and Equipment Operation**:

- Safely operate vehicles equipped with high-resolution cameras, LiDAR, and other sensors.
- Ensure all equipment is properly installed, calibrated, and functional before data collection.

**Data Collection**:

- Drive designated routes as per project requirements to capture necessary video, image, and sensor data.
- Maintain strict adherence to pre-determined driving patterns and conditions to ensure data consistency.

**Vehicle Maintenance and Inspection**:

- Perform routine checks on vehicle performance and camera systems.
- Report any malfunctions or damages to the equipment or vehicle immediately.

**Documentation and Reporting**:

- Record and maintain logs of routes, conditions, and captured data.
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to validate the accuracy and completeness of collected data.

**Safety Compliance**:

- Adhere to all local traffic laws, safety protocols, and organizational driving standards.
- Maintain a clean driving record.

**Team Collaboration**:

- Work closely with engineers, data analysts, and project managers to meet project goals.
- Provide feedback on equipment performance and driving scenarios to optimize data collection.

**Experience**:

- Experience with architecture and design of large software project.
- Experience writing C/C++ based drivers on Linux.
- Prior experience with system level object-oriented software design, and test-driven development.
- Linux kernel and user space development experience.
- Experience with various sensor and bus interfaces: MIPI, I2C and SPI.

Experience in Linux/ Android, V4L2, MIPI-CSI, I2C, Serial izer/ Deseri Alier, Camera HAL, Camera BSP
- Experience developing Android Camera HAL implementations.
- Solid understanding of Android OS Internals & Driver Framework.
- Previous experience in camera ISP and camera framework is a plus
