Dir. Sol. Core: Integration

+75 is the number of countries that Lean Digital Core (LDC) program will be rolled out across all units in Novartis Group affiliates.
LDC will simplify the way we work and enable us to leverage data for digital innovation at scale. We will achieve this through a focus on high quality data at the core, supported by end-to-end enterprise processes and new technologies, including the transformation of our ERP backbone to S/4HANA and integrated digital solutions around it.
As a key player in our program, this role will be accountable for the “how” management of design, build and governance of non-functional project deliverables such as security roles and Fiori guidance in the Solution Core and Integration Team within the Lean Digital Core S/4 Program in DDIT Organization in Novartis
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Own and drive the integrated concept design, realization, and lifecycle governance for non-functional solution elements and their integration with related areas - such as Role Concept, Fiori Launchpad, etc.
- Own and drive Solution Design for non-area through addressing all business requirements and opportunities while following Novartis architectural standards, quality and information security principles. Collaborate closely with functional solution teams, training team, architecture, security and other customer groups to ensure common concept realization
- Collaborate closely with the Global Process Owners (GPOs) and Enterprise Process Leads (EPLs) to suggest standardized and simplified integrated solutions. Champion the standardization and simplification of design, limiting custom solutions only for markets where Novartis serves customers/patients in a locally acceptable way
- Prepare and run design workshops in the assigned areas, identify critical integration points and dependencies, propose solutions for key gaps, provide effort estimations while ensuring alignment with business and other teams. Act as a design lead for project assignments, leading the fit-gap workshops by involving the appropriate design experts/ managers in their respective areas. Lead & handle project resources consisting internal/ external (vendor) experts
- Robust understanding of integration topics concerning large scale ERP implementation. Engaging with senior customers, having strong insights in the integration topics and operating aspects.
- Lead & handle project resources consisting internal/ external (vendor) expert.Excellent knowledge of business processes in the integration area with an ability to articulate complex IT topics in lucid business language
- Find opportunities for Innovation to accelerate ERP Lean Digital Core journey.Take decisions on the solution alternatives in line with Business priorities and strategies and close collaboration with design and delivery teams
- Experience in Agile project delivery and general management in an international environment. Contributes on continuous improvement of processes within the ERP CoE Function. Deliver assigned project work as per agreed timeline within budget and on-quality adhering to following the release calendars

**Minimum requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree in business/technical domains
- 12 years of relevant professional IT experience
- Fiori Design and Application architecture
- Role Concept Design, Implementation and Integration to Security, Training, Process Design, Solution Integration
- Solid ability to articulate solution benefits and downsides,
- Broad experience in non-functional integration topics of large scale ERP programs, e.g. role concepts connecting security & SOD management, training & processes, Fiori Launchpad design & setup, quality and compliance aspects
- Ability to plan, lead, manage and deliver project elements (PM, PMO experience)
- Proven track record of broad pharmaceutical industry experience and excellent understanding of complex enterprise IT landscapes and relationships, as well as large program integration experience. Experience in Agile project delivery and general management in an international environment
- Strong problem-solving ability to understand, structure, present and decide challenges and solutions in the area of responsibility. Experience in advising peers and senior customers on sophisticated issues and providing contextual guidance on complex topics to help influence customer actions
- Experience in handling and leading internal and external resources posted in different geographies and time zones
