**Job Description**:
We are looking to add an Enterprise Solution Architect to our Enterprise Architecture team**.** You’ll have an incredible opportunity to build a career within a start-up like environment while helping researchers expand the reaches of human knowledge.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Understanding the stakeholder’s business and functional requirements and translating them into technical specifications and requirements
- Delivering project deliverables on
- time and in accordance with stakeholder expectations and statement of work
- Providing architecture leadership to delivery teams and technical leads within projects to ensure there is alignment with the overall enterprise architecture
- Working closely with project management to ensure the execution of plans corresponds with what is being promised
- Developing domain specific knowledge required for good decision making within the scope of projects undertaken; eliciting specific details and confirm their relative importance to the overall solution; maintaining a good understanding of the enterprise architecture and technology vision; maintaining currency with the latest technology and engineering practises employed by delivery teams

**Qualifications**:

- At least 2 years of prior experience as a Software Architect of enterprise-grade software
- Experience in designing solutions based on a microservices architecture
- Experience with at least one leading cloud technology (AWS, GCP & Azure)
- Expertise in OO design and modelling tools
- Expertise in at least one of Java, Node or Angular
- Knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL based databases
- Knowledge of middleware technologies and patterns
- Good communication skills
