Manage our current Hadoop Clusters and underlying infrastructure on Linux Determining when components may need to be rebooted Determining when disks need to the replaced or a server needs to be ejected from cluster Working with onshore teams to re-introduce or add hardware to cluster Recommend configuration changes when needed Manage and implement (if needed) monitoring on Hadoop Troubleshoot and Work with other engineers to troubleshoot and solve when there is a bottleneck issue (e.g. Networking, SecOps) Work with Cloudera support and stay on top of tickets for root cause analysis and increasing reliability of cluster Conduct performance monitoring and tuning where possible Work with teams to test & follow through on these changes from lower environments up through production Maintain adequate technical documentation where needed
