**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Programming and Development**:

- Design, write, and debug PLC programs using languages such as Ladder Logic, Structured Text, or Function Block Diagrams.
- **System Integration**:

- Integrate PLCs with other control systems, sensors, and equipment.
- Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers to ensure seamless operation of automated systems.
- **Testing and Troubleshooting**:

- Conduct thorough testing of PLC programs and associated hardware to ensure functionality and reliability.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in existing control systems, providing timely solutions.
- **Documentation**:

- Maintain detailed documentation of program designs, changes, and system configurations.
- Create user manuals and training materials for end-users.
- **Project Support**:

- Participate in project planning and execution, providing technical support and expertise.
- Assist in the commissioning and start-up of new systems and equipment.
- **Compliance and Safety**:

- Ensure all programming and system designs comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Promote a culture of safety within the workplace.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent technical experience.
- **Experience**:

- Proven experience as a PLC Programmer in an industrial environment (3+ years preferred).
- Familiarity with various PLC brands (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi).
- **Skills**:

- Strong understanding of industrial automation concepts and control systems.
- Proficient in programming languages used in PLCs and HMIs.
- Experience with SCADA systems is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
