**Job Title**:Legal Executive

**Location**: Mumbai

**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Legal Compliance:

- Stay abreast of national and international maritime laws and regulations.
- Ensure the company's NVOCC operations comply with legal standards.
- Provide legal advice and guidance to internal teams on legal matters related to shipping.
- Contract Negotiation and Drafting:

- Negotiate, draft, and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure contractual terms align with business objectives.
- Manage and maintain a comprehensive repository of legal documents.
- Insurance Management:

- Oversee and manage insurance policies relevant to NVOCC operations.
- Collaborate with insurance providers to ensure adequate coverage for potential risks.
- Handle insurance claims, assess damages, and coordinate with relevant parties for resolution.
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation:

- Identify legal and operational risks associated with NVOCC activities.
- Devise strategies to mitigate legal and insurance-related risks.
- Implement risk management policies and procedures.
- Dispute Resolution:

- Handle legal disputes and liaise with external legal counsel when necessary.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings related to NVOCC operations.
- Work towards amicable resolutions and settlements whenever possible.

**Qualifications**:

- 70% and above scores in 10th and 12th academic years.
- Bachelor's degree in any field if interested; degree in law preferred.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.

Pay: From ₹40,000.00 per month
