**Role Overview**:
The position can be hybrid if based in Cairo or fully remote for international contractors.

**About the contract**:

- The role is a long-term contract position through Xenon7, which serves as an approved vendor for various clients.
- Payments are made in gross amounts in USD on a monthly basis.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with product and development teams to define technical requirements and architecture standards.
- Review and approve designs and code produced by developers to ensure quality and adherence to architecture standards.
- Stay abreast of technological advancements and assess their relevance to business needs.
- Lead efforts in troubleshooting architectural issues and implementing best practices for solution design.
- Document design decisions, technical specifications, and architectural guidelines.
- Provide mentorship to developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.

**Requirements**:
**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Strong proficiency in front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and popular frameworks (e.g., Angular, React).
- Proven experience with back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js,.NET, Java) and databases (SQL/NoSQL).
- In-depth knowledge of software architecture patterns and principles, including microservices, serverless, and event-driven architectures.
- Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.).
- Experience implementing web security best practices and ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Fluency in English and/or Arabic.
