- Key Responsibilities: Study and review plot plans, Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), valve data sheets, and instrument hook-ups. Responsible for piping and equipment layout, piping routing, support planning, and P&ID redlining. Lead and conduct concept, basic, and detailed design reviews with customers and cross-functional teams. Exposure to laser scan data and utilization of Navisworks for retrofit projects. Conduct model checking for clashes and ensure data consistency. Prepare Material Take-Off (MTO) for all piping items. Review technical specifications for pipe and piping component requirements. Develop piping material specifications according to standards. Select appropriate pressure ratings and class based on system pressure and temperature. Prepare paper specifications, valve datasheets, and pipe thickness calculations. Modify ISODRAFT option files based on user requests and make alterations according to line requirements, including necessary troubleshooting. Work with Lexicon and Propcon to create user-defined attributes (UDET, UVAL) and define properties such as materials and fluids. Perform E3D administration tasks, including setup, customization, and troubleshooting. Manage E3D database, user access, and project configurations. Develop and maintain E3D catalog and specifications. Provide technical support for E3D-related issues and coordinate with design teams for smooth project execution. Experience with Digital Twin technology as an added advantage.
