truGeny(Longevity Labs) is seeking a Scientific Content & Data Curator to research, pull, organize and oversee content, data in web-based databases of scientific data for the
KNOWLEDGE project.

Good communication and organization skills will be required for this position.

**_Roles & Responsibilities: _**:

- _
Researching, Sourcing and Evaluation of scientific content.
Identify and acquire new data for inclusion in the database; collaborate with others for the purpose of gathering more information to be included in the database.
Employ a proven methodology to create content databases curated from various data sources as per the specification.
Review submissions to the database for quality and relevancy; abstract information in the required formats.
Partner with Ontology, Engineering experts to help lead development of the tools and methods needed to support the content strategy.
Work with users to determine ways of using the information in the database, which may include the development of new user interfaces; work with developers to translate the needs of the users into new functionality.

Collect and analyze information from peer-reviewed scientific journals and through direct submissions; abstract data into the required format, and verify them for accuracy.

Provide accurate citations in text (using endnote), a reference list, and appropriately underscored (or highlighted) references for medical review

Leveraging tools and exploring new methods to pair knowledge and technology.
Developing a scientific content curation strategy that makes the most of expert knowledge using technologies such as natural language processing (NLP).
Manage individual workflow for assigned products and meet associated deadlines
Substantial knowledge of clinical medicine, preferably across a broad range of conditions. Ability to quickly develop expertise in new therapeutic areas.

- _EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED_**_

):
A Masters /PhD in Molecular Biology / Pathology with a bachelor’s degree in biology or equivalent master's degree in scientific field and three years of relevant experience or combination of relevant experience.

**_KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (REQUIRED_** ):

- Strong analytical skills.
- He/She must be capable of querying biomedical literature from established databases, preparing reviews and developing specific contents as required.
- Capabilities like writing project proposals and articles for publication or presentation are desirable qualifications.
- Solid experience in content development
- Ability to learn and utilize relational databases, data integration, and statistics.
- Strong written and oral English communication skills.
- Ability to understand scientific literature, experimental procedures and their limitations, and current needs of the research community.
- Experience in defining, creation, and maintenance of biological knowledge base and data analysis in of the domains such as proteome, pathways, genetic variation-phenotype association, pharmacogenomics, nutrigenomics etc.
- Having a published article that’s been authoured / co-authored would be an added benefit.
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required
- Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

**Salary**: ₹10,874.24 - ₹34,839.32 per month
