**Job description**

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for reconciliation and adjustment of various general ledger accounts. Prepares related financial reports and statements.
- Responsible for general accounting work required to maintain the departments general ledger. Performs financial analysis of the department’s chart of accounts and financial statements by identifying and analyzing variances.
- Responds to inquiries received from management, internal and external auditors and others regarding financial results, special reporting requests, etc
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Record and maintain accurate financial transactions in the general ledger, ensuring adherence to accounting principles and company policies.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and accruals.
- Process accounts payable invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payments to vendors.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and compliance with tax regulations.
- Maintain and update financial records, including filing and organizing financial documents.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and industry best practices.

**Requirements**:

- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
- High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
- 6 Month of professional accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
