Vegetable Purchaser

**Job Location : Nasik / Raikotte**

**Job Summary**:
The Vegetable Purchaser will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and coordinating.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Source and procure a wide range of fresh vegetables based on seasonal availability and company needs.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and contract terms with vendors and growers.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure consistent quality and timely delivery.
- Monitor market trends, weather conditions, and crop forecasts to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure proper handling and storage of vegetables.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
- Identify and onboard new suppliers as needed to ensure a diversified and reliable supply chain.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in produce or food purchasing (preferably fresh vegetables).
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Solid understanding of vegetable varieties, seasonality, and quality standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
