About Us:
Good Business Lab is an independent, non-profit labor innovation company. We use rigorous academic research to prove that worker well-being programs have business impacts. We develop market-ready, scalable interventions that benefit both workers and businesses. Our goal is to disrupt the traditional notion of business and show that worker well-being can be a good business practice.

**GBL Summer Internship Program**:_For this cohort, we are actively looking to host students from SC/ST/OBC as part of our affirmative action (AA) initiative. AA also extends to Denotified and nomadic tribes (DNT) and Semi Nomadic Tribes (SNT). 50% of internship positions have been reserved for students from historically marginalized/oppressed backgrounds, who are underrepresented in the development ecosystem._**

**Type of Internship**: Full-time

**Duration of Internship**: 2-3 months

**Remuneration**: 15k per month

**Location**:Remote/ Delhi/Bangalore/Field (specific to project). Location depends on project requirements.

**Start Date**: April-May 2025

**What will you do?**:
The Research Intern will work closely with Research Associates and the research implementation team, and other field staff to help implement various research projects. Key responsibilities include (but not limited to):

- Designing survey instruments and making regular field visits to monitor data collection activities (can be to rural areas)
- Helping to identify potential threats to research design, proposing solutions, and escalating as needed
- Conducting secondary research and literature reviews
- Ensuring research and data protocols are upheld
- Assisting in project documentation
- Preparing policy memos and brochures on past and on-going research
- Cleaning data required for the analysis of a study
- Coordinating with the administrative and finance teams on a variety of tasks related to payment and contracts of field staff
- Assisting in stakeholder management

**Who are you?**:

- Able to work in a team in a dynamic environment on the ground and be self-motivated
- Motivated to pick-up challenging tasks with steep learning curves
