**Job Title**: Cinema Technician

**Job Type**: Full-Time

**Role Overview**:
As a Cinema Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all cinema equipment including digital projection systems, sound equipment, lighting, and other audiovisual technologies. You will play a critical role in maintaining technical excellence and delivering a seamless cinematic experience to guests.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate and maintain digital cinema projection systems (DCP, servers, etc.)
- Perform regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on AV and IT equipment
- Calibrate audio systems and projection settings to meet industry standards
- Work closely with content delivery platforms (e.g., DCP ingest, KDM management)
- Monitor screenings to ensure optimal sound and picture quality
- Maintain accurate logs of maintenance and equipment usage
- Support the installation of new equipment and software updates
- Assist in emergency technical support during screenings
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure readiness for daily shows
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

**Qualifications**:

- Experience with digital cinema systems (Barco, Christie, NEC, Dolby, etc.)
- Familiarity with audio systems (Dolby Digital, 5.1/7.1 surround sound, etc.)
- Basic understanding of IT networking and AV protocols
- Technical training or diploma in Electronics, AV Tech, or a related field preferred
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure

**Desirable (Bonus)**:

- Experience with live event support in a cinema or theater environment
- Familiarity with automation systems and digital signage
- Knowledge of KDM handling and DCP formatting tools (e.g., DCP-o-matic)

**Working Conditions**:

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
