**Job Title: OT Technician**

**Reporting To: OT In-charge / Surgeon / Nursing Superintendent**

**Job Type: Full-Time**

**Job Summary**:
At Raigad Hospital and Research Centre, the OT Technician plays a vital role in ensuring smooth and safe surgical procedures. The technician is responsible for preparing the operation theatre, assisting during surgeries, and maintaining sterile conditions at all times.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare the Operation Theatre (OT) before surgical procedures - including equipment, instruments, and environment setup.
- Assist surgeons, anesthetists, and nurses during surgeries by handling surgical instruments and consumables.
- Ensure sterilization and disinfection of instruments and OT area before and after procedures.
- Operate and maintain OT equipment such as anesthesia machines, suction machines, OT lights, monitors, etc.
- Monitor and manage inventory of surgical instruments, linen, and OT supplies.
- Maintain OT records, checklists, and assist in documentation of surgical cases.
- Transport patients to and from the operation theatre safely.
- Ensure biomedical waste is handled and disposed of according to the hospital's infection control and waste management protocols.
- Follow hospital protocols, infection control guidelines, and safety procedures strictly.
- Be available for emergency or urgent surgeries as needed, including off-hours or on-call shifts.

**Qualification & Experience**:

- Diploma or Certificate in Operation Theatre Technology (DOTT / COTT) from a recognized institute.
- 1-5 years of experience in a hospital OT setup preferred.
- Basic knowledge of surgical procedures, anatomy, and aseptic techniques.

**Skills Required**:

- Good understanding of sterilization and infection control practices.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and follow surgeon's instructions accurately.
- Team player with excellent time management and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle OT equipment safely and responsibly.

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per year

- Rotational shift
