**General Summary**:
The IT CAD Support role involves providing comprehensive CAD support for engineering projects, ensuring adherence to design specifications and maintaining high standards of quality in all deliverables.

**How You Will Do It**:

- Oversee and direct CAD support activities for multiple complex projects, ensuring timely completion and compliance with design requirements.
- Collaborate closely with design teams to prepare technical submissions including detailed schematics and layouts.
- Review project designs for accuracy and compliance with applicable standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct detailed calculations to verify system designs meet all necessary specifications and codes.
- Facilitate design reviews and presentations during project meetings with stakeholders and clients.
- Provide technical support and guidance to CAD Technicians and junior staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Monitor project timelines and resource allocation to optimize team performance and project delivery.
- Participate in risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies as needed to ensure project success.
- Engage in continuous improvement efforts to enhance CAD processes and outputs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of project progress and updates for internal tracking and client communication.

**What We Look For**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in CAD support, specifically within engineering or architectural disciplines.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop effective solutions to complex design challenges.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven experience in mentoring and developing junior staff and promoting professional growth within the team.
- Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards relevant to CAD design.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
