**Job Description: TGT Mathematics - Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Nauni**

**Position**: Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) - Mathematics

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Subject Teaching**:

- Teach Mathematics to students from Classes IXto XII as per the CBSE curriculum.
- Prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans, assignments, and tests to meet learning objectives.
- **Classroom Management**:

- Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment in the classroom.
- Monitor and evaluate the academic progress of students and provide constructive feedback.
- **Student Development**:

- Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills in students.
- Provide additional support to students who require help in understanding mathematical concepts.
- **Curriculum Planning and Implementation**:

- Participate in curriculum development and ensure that lesson plans are aligned with academic goals.
- Use innovative teaching methods, including technology-based tools, to enhance student learning.
- **Administrative Responsibilities**:

- Maintain accurate student records, including attendance, grades, and performance reports.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and other school events.
- **Extracurricular Engagement**:

- Mentor students in mathematics-related competitions like Olympiads, quizzes, and exhibitions.
- Contribute to the overall development of the school community by participating in co-curricular activities.

**Qualifications**:

- **Educational Qualification**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics (or related field) with B.Ed. from a recognized university.
- Master’s degree in Mathematics or equivalent is desirable.
- **Experience**:

- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience as a TGT or in a similar role preferred.
- **Skills**:

- Proficiency in classroom management and communication skills.
- Familiarity with digital teaching aids and modern pedagogical methods.
