Key responsibilities of a salon trainer:

- **Hands-on instruction**:Demonstrate techniques for haircuts, coloring, styling, waxing, facials, manicures, and pedicures to new staff members.
- **Assessing student performance**:Evaluate trainees' progress through practical demonstrations, quizzes, and client interactions.
- **Providing feedback and coaching**:Offer constructive criticism and personalized guidance to help trainees improve their skills
- **Maintaining updated curriculum**:Stay informed about industry trends, new techniques, and product advancements to incorporate into training programs
- **Mentoring new stylists**:Provide ongoing support and guidance to new staff members as they transition into client service roles
- **Ensuring quality standards**:Monitor trainees' work to ensure adherence to salon policies, safety protocols, and client satisfaction
- **Managing training schedules**:Organize training sessions and coordinate with salon management to schedule trainees with clients for practical experience
