**About the role**

As a Cloud Security Architect, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing secure cloud solutions to protect our organization's sensitive information and assets. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain robust security architectures, policies, and procedures across our cloud environments.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design and implement secure cloud architectures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Conduct security assessments, threat modelling and risk analyses to identify potential vulnerabilities and threats within cloud environments.
- Develop and maintain cloud security policies, standards, and procedures to mitigate risks and protect data.
- Provide guidance and support to development and operations teams on secure cloud deployment practices.
- Implement security controls and monitoring tools to detect and respond to security incidents in real-time.
- Stay up to date on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies in the cloud computing space.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define security requirements and priorities for cloud projects and initiatives.
- Participate in security audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

**Requirements**:

As a minimum you must have:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field; master’s degree preferred.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
- Proven experience designing and implementing secure cloud solutions in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles, including identity and access management, data encryption, network security, and compliance.
- Experience with security assessment tools, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing techniques.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
