**ONLY FEMALE CANDIDATES WITH STRONG AND PROVEN EXPERIENCE IN LUXURY FASHION MERCHANDISING LUXURY (PREOWNED LUXURY FASHION ACCESSORIES)** - **Location - Mumbai (35th off Linking Road, Khar West)**: - **Priority given to Proven experience in Luxury Retail sector.** **JOB DESCRIPTION** **CONSIGNMENT MANAGER - LUXURY FASHION** **ROLE**: - Merchandise Buyer selects merchandise for order, places order, and stays involved in inventory distribution. - Review success of previous orders to determine extent to which inventory should be replenished. - Researches new trends or advances in product lines to make appropriate buying decisions. - ensure commercial and financial viability of the product. - ensure that stock flows through the business and is available where it is most likely to sell. - Plan and develop merchandising strategies that balance customers’ expectations and company’s objectives - Analyse sales figures, customers reactions and market trends to anticipate product needs and plan product ranges/stock - Collaborate with buyers, suppliers, distributors and analysts to negotiate prices, quantities and time-scales - Maximise customer interest and sales levels by displaying products appropriately - Produce layout plans for stores and maintain store shelves and inventory - Forecast profits/sales and plan budgets - Monitor stock movement and consider markdowns, promotions, price changes, clear outs etc - Build constructive customer relationships and team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals - Remain up to date with industry’s best practices **ELIGIBILITY**: Priority given to Experience in Luxury Retail sector. Understanding of the current market trends and economic developments. At the same time, it requires an understanding of the needs and wants of the target consumers and locating a product to suit these needs. **SKILLS REQUIRED**: - Negotiation, decision-making, interpersonal skills, math - Proven working experience in merchandising - Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage, inform and motivate - Up-to-date with the latest merchandising trends and best practices - Excellent verbal and written communications skills - Strong listening, presentation and decision making skills - Commercial acumen and the ability to “decode” customers **WHO WE ARE?** We are an emerging and fast-growing international brand and the pioneers in online pre-owned luxury in India.
