**Full Job Description**

Job Role:

- Planning, assessing, organizing and delivering activities and creating customizedlearning experiences
- Facilitating the all-round development of all children, enabling them to reach their full potential
- Supporting the development of the children within the EYFS curriculumKey Person role for a group of children, actively communicating Planning, assessing, organizing and delivering activities and creating customized learning experiences

- Creating an inclusive environment for both the staff, students and parents/careersUtilizing a range and balance of planning, teaching, assessment (recording andreporting) strategies
- Planning children’s learning outcomes in the context of a coherent nursery-widecurriculum
- Monthly/weekly/daily learning outcome goals and implementing into daily classroom practice
- Execute the general plan of monthly/weekly/daily goals and lead and supervise planned activities.
- Using a variety of resources representing multiple perspectives and addressing the individual needs of children with different levels and types of ability
- Producing accurate and effective observations to assess the children’s progress and its effectiveness
- Maintaining objective, accurate and up-to-date progress records for future planning
- Producing termly evaluation reports for designated key children and termly parents’ reports
- Each teacher is assigned a Key Person responsibility that aims at: ensuring every child’s care is tailored to their individual needs; that the child become familiar with the Nursery setting and to offer a settled relationship for the child and build a relationship with their parents.
- Be accessible and available as a point of contact for parents or careers.
- Observing and updating the child’s care record and tracking their development within the Nursery
- Updating the child’s personal development recordsUpdating the child’s individual planning and sharing the information with parents and careers.
- Responding sensitively to child’s feelings and behaviors and meeting emotionalneeds
- Providing reassurance to new children to enable smooth transition into nursery
- Empowering children to feel responsible and involving them actively in their own
- Supporting physical needs of child not limited to nappy changing, toileting anddressing, settling to sleep, giving milk, fostering positive behavior
- Creating an inclusive environment for both the staff, students and parents/careers
