**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Teaching and Curriculum Delivery**:

- Develop and deliver well-planned and effective lessons that meet curriculum standards and student needs.
- Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning and growth.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods (lectures, discussions, multimedia, project-based learning) to engage students and enhance their understanding of social studies concepts.
- **Assessment and Evaluation**:

- Assess student progress through regular quizzes, assignments, projects, and tests.
- Provide constructive feedback to students on their performance and suggest areas for improvement.
- Conduct periodic examinations, record grades, and prepare report cards.
- Prepare students for board exams (e.g., CBSE, ICSE) by providing comprehensive revision sessions and exam strategies.
- **Student Support and Mentoring**:

- Offer individualized support to students who need extra assistance, whether academically or personally.
- Guide and mentor students, fostering both their academic and personal development.
- Encourage student participation in social studies-related extracurricular activities, such as debates, model UN, and history clubs.
- **Classroom Management**:

- Maintain discipline in the classroom while creating an open environment that encourages participation and discussion.
- Develop and enforce classroom rules that promote respect, cooperation, and academic integrity.
- **Curriculum Development and Teaching Aids**:

- Contribute to the development of teaching materials, lesson plans, and projects in line with the syllabus.
- Use technology and educational tools (e.g., educational apps, maps, and simulations) to make lessons more interactive and informative.
- Prepare teaching resources such as handouts, presentations, and other materials to assist students' learning.
- **Professional Development**:

- Stay updated on current educational trends, curriculum changes, and advancements in social studies education.
- Participate in professional development programs, workshops, and school events to continuously improve teaching practices.
- Engage in school meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other school-related events as required.
- **Parental Communication**:

- Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student progress and any issues affecting their academic performance.
- **Extra-Curricular Activities**:

- Actively engage students in extra-curricular activities related to social studies, such as educational trips, debates, model United Nations (MUN), and history-related events.
- Encourage and supervise students for participation in external competitions and events.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
