**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct **testing of transformer insulating oils** (new and in-service) for properties such as:

- Dissolved Gas Analysis (DGA)
- Furan analysis
- Moisture content
- Acidity, BDV (Breakdown Voltage), and resistivity
- Perform **Chromatography (GC)** tests for quality assessment of materials and oil samples.
- Interpret and report test results in accordance with **IEC, ASTM, IS** and other relevant standards.
- Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot analytical instruments such as:

- Gas Chromatograph (GC)
- High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC)
- Karl Fischer Titrator, etc.
- Support **root cause analysis** and failure investigation related to transformer oil or insulation breakdown.
- Collaborate with design, production, and service teams for testing support and quality assurance.
- Maintain documentation and test records as per **ISO 17025/IEC 60296** or internal lab standards.
- Ensure safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance in the lab.

**Qualifications**:

- **M.Sc. in Chemistry** with a **specialization in Chromatography** (mandatory).
- 1-3 years of experience in analytical chemistry, preferably in electrical, petrochemical, or oil testing labs.
- Experience with **transformer oil analysis** or **insulating materials** is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of chromatographic techniques and sample preparation.
- Familiarity with relevant testing standards (ASTM, IEC, IS).
