**Job Title: Career Counselor**
**Location: Kanakia International School - IGCSE, Bhayandar**

managing the IAYP program, and being part of the discipline committee.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Support students in building strong profiles by guiding them on academic enrichment,

extracurricular involvement, and community service.
- Offer academic guidance in alignment with IGCSE curriculum standards and student aspirations.
- Conduct workshops and seminars for students and parents on career awareness, university admissions, and evolving career trends.
- Liaise with universities, educational bodies, and organizations to provide updated information on admission requirements and scholarship opportunities.
- Lead and manage school club activities, ensuring active participation and holistic development of students.
- Act as the Coordinator for IAYP, driving student engagement and completion of the award program.
- Serve as a member of the Discipline Committee, ensuring a safe and respectful learning

environment.

**Required Competencies & Skills**
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to connect effectively with students, parents, and faculty.
- Sound knowledge of college and university admission processes (domestic and international).
- Familiarity with career development theories, practices, and psychometric assessments.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain professional integrity.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities including counseling,

documentation, and extracurricular activities.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across departments.

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Master’s degree in Psychology / Counseling / Education or a related field.
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in career and university counseling, preferably in an international school setup.
- Exposure to IGCSE / IB curriculum will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹85,000.00 per month
