Accounts Executive **-** Payable & Receivable

**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:

- **Accounts Payable**:

- Process invoices and ensure proper authorization.
- Verify invoices against purchase orders and receiving documents.
- Prepare and execute payment runs (cheques, NEFT, RTGS).
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of all payable transactions.
- Manage vendor relationships and address inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Handle petty cash transactions related to payables.
- **Accounts Receivable**:

- Generate and send invoices to customers.
- Track and record customer payments.
- Follow up on overdue payments and manage collections.
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare and analyze accounts receivable aging reports.
- Maintain accurate records of all receivable transactions.
- Communicate with customers regarding payment inquiries.
- Assist in credit management and risk assessment.
- **General Accounting**:

- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Perform other accounting duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, QuickBooks).
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably in the electrical switchgear sector.
- Knowledge of GST regulations.
