5. **Documentation and Charting**: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records by documenting assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records (EHR) or paper charts as per regulatory standards.

6. **Patient Advocacy**: Advocate for patients' rights, preferences, and needs within the healthcare system. Ensure that patients receive compassionate, culturally sensitive, and equitable care.

7. **Critical Thinking and Decision Making**: Use critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations, identify problems, and make informed decisions regarding patient care, prioritization, and interventions.

8. **Emergency Response**: Respond to medical emergencies and provide emergency care interventions such as CPR, first aid, and emergency medication administration to stabilize patients' conditions until further medical assistance arrives.

9. **Team Collaboration**: Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians, nurses, therapists, social workers, and pharmacists, to coordinate patient care, share information, and achieve optimal patient outcomes.

10. **Quality Improvement**: Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice projects to enhance patient care delivery, improve outcomes, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

11. **Infection Control**: Adhere to infection control protocols, including hand hygiene practices, personal protective equipment (PPE) use, and isolation precautions, to prevent the spread of infections in healthcare settings.

12. **Continuing Education and Professional Development**: Stay updated on advances in nursing practice, healthcare technologies, and evidence-based guidelines by participating in continuing education programs, workshops, and professional development activities.

13. **Ethical and Legal Compliance**: Practice nursing within the scope of practice defined by regulatory bodies and adhere to ethical principles, professional standards, and legal regulations governing nursing practice and patient care.

14. **Community Health and Outreach**: Participate in community health programs, health screenings, and outreach activities to promote public health, disease prevention, and health education initiatives within the community.
