**Heavy Duty Mechanic - Technician (International - MALI)**

As the first line of support, Heavy Equipment Technicians are an integral member of ETASI’s Mining team. You will directly support mine maintenance goals and objectives at our various mine sites. In this role, you will collaborate with and work alongside field and shop maintenance crews to ensure that all heavy equipment is optimized and maintained. You will utilize your heavy-duty mechanical experience to focus on the maintenance requirements for designated heavy equipment including Haul Trucks, Rigid Truck, Articulated Dump Truck, Dozers, Graders, Loaders, Excavators and other support equipment.

**Responsibilities**
- Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and clean heavy equipment as assigned
- Utilize computerized and other testing equipment to determine repairs and create detailed service reports
- Make recommendations regarding repairs and methods for improvement
- Interpret and complete both scheduled and unscheduled work orders
- Contribute to the ongoing reliability of all heavy equipment and complete preventative maintenance requirements
- Test repaired equipment to verify proper maintenance
- To service, adjust and repair equipment, components and accessories including removal and refitting in a safe, proper and economical manner using special tools and equipment provided, ensuring top quality workmanship at all times
- To ensure at all times that equipment and tools are kept in a clean safe condition
- Report any shortages, damages or faults with tools or equipment to the Supervisor

**Qualifications**
- 5+ years of working on mining equipment, specifically supporting off road heavy equipment
- Experience in repairing brands like Komatsu, Caterpillar, Volvo and Liebherr
- Computer literate and competent in the use of a laptop for trouble shooting
- Ability to work independently and to function as part of a team
- Awareness of existing and new technology related to the industry
- Good understanding of Technical English
- The ability to travel and be away from home for extended periods of time.
- Must have no restrictions for accessing any mine sites

**Job Types**: Regular / Permanent, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: ₹50,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
