**The Role**:
As a 3D Character Animator, your primary responsibility is performance. You will bring our characters to life, translating the script and animatic into compelling, emotionally resonant animation. You will be responsible for body mechanics, acting, and lip-sync, ensuring that each character's personality shines through in every movement.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Animate the characters according to the approved animatic and director's vision.

Deliver high-quality character acting that conveys a range of emotions

Animate believable body mechanics, paying close attention to weight, timing, and posing.

Create expressive and entertaining performances.

Perform precise lip-sync animation to match the pre-recorded dialogue.

Incorporate notes from the Director and Lead Animator from daily reviews to refine and polish shots.

Manage complex character rigs with costume elements, ensuring they move appealingly.

Work efficiently within a shot-based pipeline to meet the project's tight schedule.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:
A strong demo reel showcasing high-quality, expressive character animation.

Proficiency in animation principles (timing, spacing, squash and stretch, anticipation, etc.).

Expertise in animation workflows within **Autodesk Maya** or **Blender**.

A keen eye for acting, storytelling, and comedic timing.

Ability to interpret an animatic and bring a 2D storyboard to life in 3D.

Your demo reel must demonstrate strong character performance, body mechanics, and acting ability.

Ability to take direction and work collaboratively in a team environment.

**Bonus Skills**:
Experience animating characters with complex secondary elements like capes, tails, or wings.

2D animation experience is a plus.

Experience animating both humans and non-human creatures.
