**Job Title: Diamond Merchandiser**

**Location: Mumbai**

**Industry: Gems and Jewellery**

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and diamond brokers to ensure a reliable and consistent supply of high-quality diamonds
- Work with cross-functional teams including product development, manufacturing, stores and sales to determine diamond quality, pricing, and availability
- Ensure the timely delivery of diamonds and manage inventory levels to meet production schedules.
- Analyze sales reports and data to determine the needs and forecast of the business and set business strategies.
- Forecasting the business strategies via closely monitoring and analyzing sales volumes.
- Review the aging Inventory with business acumen and provide solutions to reduce the aging inventory.
- Execution of production Orders and follow-up with Vendors
- Implement and maintain systems to track diamond movements, quality, and status throughout the supply chain
- Monitor and analyze diamond market trends to identify opportunities and risks, and adjust procurement strategies as needed
- Negotiate diamond purchases and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost savings and ensure compliance with company policies
- Train and develop team members to achieve operational excellence and drive continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with ethical sourcing and sustainability standards
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Min Graduate)
- 8+ years of experience in diamond procurement, management, and sales
- Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills
- Proven track record of managing diamond supply chain operations, meeting performance metrics, and achieving cost savings
- Knowledge of diamond grading, pricing, and market trends
- Familiarity with industry regulations and ethical sourcing practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines

**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per month
