**Project description**:
As a Murex Back Office Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in designing, analyzing, and enhancing Back Office workflows within the Murex platform, focusing on both post-trade and pre-trade processes in the financial markets. Your expertise in Murex Back Office operations will help ensure that the solutions delivered meet the evolving needs of financial institutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, technical consultants, and clients, to ensure robust and scalable solutions that align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
**Responsibilities**:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements related to Back Office operations in Murex, including trade lifecycle, reconciliation, settlements, and accounting processes.
Translate business requirements into clear and actionable functional specifications and technical documentation.
Design and enhance Back Office workflows in the Murex platform, ensuring smooth integration of business requirements into the technical architecture.
Work closely with Murex technical teams to ensure the implementation of solutions aligns with business needs and complies with industry standards and regulations.
Lead the preparation of Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications, and other documentation to support project delivery.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and review sessions.
Provide ongoing support for post-implementation phases, troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise.
Conduct data analysis and validation to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the Back Office workflows in Murex.

Must have
6+ Years of experience as a Murex Back Office BA
Techno-Functional BA: Strong ability to translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications while ensuring alignment between technical and business teams.
Good understanding of Back Office flows: In-depth knowledge of Back Office processes, including trade lifecycle management, reconciliation, settlements, and accounting within the Murex platform.
Good understanding of asset classes: Familiarity with various asset classes (e.g., Fixed Income, Equities, Derivatives, FX) and their respective Back Office flows.
Experience in Murex: Proven experience working with the Murex platform, particularly in the Back Office domain, enhancing workflows, and implementing solutions.
Experience in Functional Designs/BRDs: Strong ability to develop detailed functional designs, BRDs, and other documentation, ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements.
Experience working in Agile: Practical experience in Agile environments, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and iterative delivery.
Knowledge of SQL: Ability to write and optimize SQL queries for data validation, reporting, and troubleshooting.
Nice to have
Experience with Fixed Income and other asset classes in Murex: Experience in implementing Murex workflows for Fixed Income and other asset classes is highly desirable.
Understanding of Murex Front Office: Knowledge of Murex Front Office workflows and how they integrate with Back Office processes.
Experience in data modeling and reporting: Familiarity with data modeling and generating reports or dashboards to support business and regulatory requirements.
Certifications: Relevant certifications in Murex or Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum) are a plus.
