**About Team & Product/Project Details**:
We are looking for a Data Architect to join our CIO Platform Services Team in the Global Delivery Organization. As a Data Architect, you will be responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining logical data solutions. You will also be in charge of implementing data migration models, data modeling, data security, data governance, identifying new data system requirements, and monitoring across the organization. Additionally, you will provide strong leadership and mentoring to team members.

**What you will be doing**:

- Design and implement effective database solutions and models for data storage and retrieval
- Evaluate database structural necessities and implement data strategies aligned with business processes
- Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations for database implementation
- Manage data flow and information dissemination within the organization
- Integrate technical functionality to ensure data accessibility, accuracy, and security
- Audit and monitor the performance of the data management system, making refinements when necessary and reporting any breaches or loopholes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure smooth functioning of the enterprise data system
- Prepare reports on database design and architecture for management and executive teams
- Oversee the migration of data from legacy systems to cloud-based solutions
- Monitor system performance, conduct tests, troubleshoot, and integrate new features
- Suggest solutions to improve new and existing database systems
- Provide training and support to team members

**What you bring**:

- 12 to 15 years of overall IT experience, including 5+ years of experience in data architecture and migrations
- Strong knowledge of tools such as Erwin, Azure, ADF, Databricks, SSIS, SSRS, SQL Server, Azure SQL MI
- Good understanding of cloud technologies, API integrations, PowerBI reports, Active Directory/LDAP, Python, ADX, Synapse, deployment pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
- Certifications in Azure data lake, Databricks, and data warehousing
- Expertise in all lifecycle phases, requirements definition, risk management, implementation, deployment, and maintenance
- Strong industry knowledge, planning skills, long-term vision, and executive presence
- Good knowledge in banking and payments domain
- Experience with problem/incident/change management processes and tools
- Ability to make decisions in challenging and limited information situations
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with management, employees, and clients
- Ability to adapt to changes in responsibilities, processes, and organizational structure
- A sense of urgency for customer requests and a strong focus on customer satisfaction
- Ability to handle multiple projects or assignments concurrently
- Support the implementation of new tools and practices
- Maintain professionalism in the office and demonstrate respect for others
