**Job Description: Hostel Warden (Girls)**
**Location**: The Jain International School, Bilaspur

**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Student Welfare and Safety**:

- Ensure a safe, secure, and healthy environment for all girls in the hostel.
- Be attentive to students' physical and emotional needs, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to any emergencies or issues, coordinating with school authorities as needed.
- **Discipline and Supervision**:

- Enforce hostel rules and regulations, maintaining a structured and disciplined environment.
- Oversee daily routines, including study hours, meal times, hygiene, and bedtimes.
- Monitor attendance and movement of students in and out of the hostel premises, maintaining accurate records.
- **Health and Hygiene**:

- Regularly check on the cleanliness and hygiene of hostel rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
- Provide first-aid when necessary and coordinate with the school’s healthcare providers for any medical issues.
- **Mentorship and Counseling**:

- Offer emotional support to students, helping them cope with academic or personal challenges.
- Conduct regular meetings with the students to discuss issues, share announcements, and build a positive community.
- **Coordination with School Administration**:

- Maintain open communication with school authorities regarding students' academic progress, conduct, and welfare.
- Report any issues or incidents promptly to the school administration.
- **Parent Communication**:

- Act as the point of contact for parents regarding students' well-being and progress.
- Address parental concerns promptly and professionally.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in any field (Education, Social Work, or Psychology preferred).
- Prior experience as a hostel warden or similar role is highly desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive issues with maturity, patience, and discretion.
- Knowledge of first-aid is preferred.

**Working Hours**:
This is a residential position; the Warden is required to stay on campus in the hostel accommodation provided.

**Compensation**:
Competitive salary package, along with furnished accommodation and meals.
