Oxygen Operator

**Monitoring Oxygen Supply**
- Regularly check **oxygen pressure gauges**, pipelines, and flow meters.
- Monitor oxygen levels in **bulk storage tanks, cylinders, or concentrators**.
- Maintain a **24/7 supply** of oxygen in all patient care areas (ICU, wards, OT, etc.).

2. **Handling Oxygen Cylinders**
- Ensure timely **replacement/refilling** of empty cylinders.
- Maintain proper **labeling** and color coding (e.g., green for oxygen).
- Transport cylinders safely using **trolleys or carts**—avoid dragging or rolling.

3. **Operating Central Oxygen Plant/System**
- Operate and maintain the **centralized oxygen supply system**, if installed (like PSA plants).
- Respond to any **alarm or pressure drop** in the system promptly.

4. **Maintenance & Safety Checks**
- Perform routine checks for **leaks**, rust, or physical damage.
- Ensure oxygen delivery devices (like regulators, humidifiers) are clean and functioning.
- Comply with **fire safety norms** due to oxygen's high flammability risk.

5. **Documentation & Reporting**
- Keep records of:

- Cylinder usage and refills
- Daily consumption logs
- Any faults or repairs
- Inform the **biomedical or maintenance team** in case of technical issues.

6. **Coordination & Communication**
- Work closely with:

- Nursing staff and ward in-charges
- Biomedical engineers
- Vendors/suppliers for oxygen refills

7. **Emergency Preparedness**
- Respond quickly during oxygen-related emergencies (e.g., COVID-19 surges, ICU demands).
- Maintain a **backup supply** of oxygen at all times.

**Required Skills and Knowledge**
- Basic understanding of **gas systems and pressure mechanics**.
- Knowledge of **hospital safety protocols**.
- Ability to work under **stressful conditions**.
- Preferably trained in **basic biomedical equipment handling**.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month

- Rotational shift
