**Job Title: English Teacher PGT**

**Location: Shillong**

**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced PGT English Teacher to join our school's English

**Responsibilities**:
1. Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality English lessons that align with the curriculum and educational standards.

3. Assess and evaluate students' progress through regular quizzes, assignments, tests, and other assessment methods.

4. Communicating, consulting and providing feedback to the parents of students during
PTM or as and when required.

5. Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and materials to cater to various learning styles and abilities.

6. Foster a love for literature by introducing students to a variety of literary works, both classic and contemporary.

7. Encourage critical thinking, writing skills, and effective communication among students.

8. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay updated with the latest teaching methods and educational trends.

9. Collaborate with colleagues in the English Department to share best practices and contribute to the department's goals.

10. Engage in extracurricular activities, such as literary clubs, debates, or drama clubs, to enhance students' exposure to English language and literature.

**Qualifications: -**
- School or classroom teaching experience is compulsory.
- Deep understanding of the national curriculum and English language requirements.
- Well-organized and committed, with excellent communication skills.

**Salary**: ₹65,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
