Assistant Professor in Computer Science

**Job Summary**:
As a Professor in Computer Science Engineering, you will be responsible for teaching, research, and academic leadership in the field of computer science engineering. Your duties will include delivering lectures, designing course materials, mentoring students, conducting research, publishing scholarly work, and participating in departmental and institutional activities. You will contribute to the development of curriculum, supervise student projects, and collaborate with industry partners. Additionally, you will be expected to stay updated with advancements in the field and actively engage in professional development activities.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Teaching and Instruction**: Deliver lectures, seminars, and workshops on various topics in computer science engineering. Design and develop course materials, including syllabi, assignments, and assessments. Provide guidance and support to students through advising and mentoring.
- **Research and Scholarship**: Conduct high-quality research in computer science engineering or related areas. Publish research findings in reputable journals, conference proceedings, and other scholarly outlets. Pursue external funding opportunities to support research projects. Supervise graduate students' research activities and collaborate with interdisciplinary research teams.
- **Academic Leadership**: Contribute to the development and enhancement of the computer science engineering curriculum. Serve on departmental and institutional committees. Participate in accreditation processes and program reviews. Provide leadership in fostering a culture of academic excellence, diversity, and inclusion.
- **Industry Collaboration**: Establish and maintain partnerships with industry stakeholders, including corporations, startups, and government agencies. Collaborate on research projects, internships, and experiential learning opportunities for students. Keep abreast of industry trends and integrate relevant practices into the curriculum.
- **Professional Development**: Stay updated with advancements in computer science engineering through continuous learning and participation in professional development activities. Attend conferences, workshops, and seminars. Engage in scholarly networking and collaborations at the national and international levels.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: M.Tch
- CSE & Ph.D. in Computer Science Engineering from an accredited institution is required.
- **Teaching Experience**: Demonstrated excellence in teaching computer science engineering courses at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels.
- **Research Track Record**: A strong record of scholarly research, including publications in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings. Experience in securing research funding is desirable.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- **Collaboration and Leadership**: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and provide leadership in academic and research initiatives.
- **Industry Engagement**: Experience in collaborating with industry partners and integrating industry-relevant practices into academic programs.
- **Commitment to Diversity**: A commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in teaching, research, and service activities.
